Part 2- The Golden Age AKA America F’ Yeah!

After the birth of the what many would consider the golden age of comics it was followed up by a decade that took that notion to heart in the 1940s where we would see a lot of the heroes that we know by a household name all these years later start to have their character arc brought to the mainstream, meet a few other familiar faces and as the World headed to war again we were introduced to a new kind of hero.

As the United States wounds began to heal in the 1950s the foundation for what would become a traditional American life began to take form. The late 1940s into the 50 saw the advent of episodic television shows that entertained and brought our imaginations to new heights.  Drive-in cinemas and Drive up restaurants became the fad and if you happened to pull in up in a 1957 Chevrolet Bel Air Convertible even then your grandkids from future generations knew you were as cool as Arthur Fonzarelli, Eyyyy!!!

Tune in next week, same bat time, same bat channel as we take one giant leap into the 1960’s!
